Ultrasonic converter plays a vital role in the ultrasonic system and it to some degree decides the final welding result of the working piece. The ultrasonic converter K&M tech provides is of good quality, the ceramics we provide have good features: high efficiency, big amplitude & power, good heat durability. During the use of the ultrasonic converter, it is normal to get heat, and there are mainly three reasons:

 

The first is that the welding parts will heat up or the material processed by the ultrasonic wave will heat up, the welding horn or the amplitude transformer will heat up when working for a long time, the heat will be transferred to the transducer. The other is the power loss of the transducer itself. Since you can't do 100% energy efficiency, that part of the energy loss must be converted into heat. Temperature rise will also lead to the change of ultrasonic transducer parameters, gradually offset the best matching state, more seriously, the temperature rises will lead to the deterioration of the performance of piezoelectric ceramic wafers. This, in turn, causes the ultrasonic transducer to work worse and heat up faster, a vicious cycle. So we must give ultrasonic transducer good cooling conditions, generally room temperature air cooling; If necessary, cold air cooling can also be used. Under normal conditions, the temperature rise caused by these two points is also normal. Under normal cooling conditions, there will be no big problem.
