Frequency matching between the ultrasonic transducer and generator is one factor that affects the welding performance. In general, this difference is no more than ±0.1kHz, the smaller, the better. It is strongly recommended that the frequency of the supporting welding head be lower than the transducer's frequency about 0.1KHz(small-signal frequency). That is to say, if the frequency measured by the small signal of the original transducer is 14.85KHz, then the ideal frequency after connecting to the welding head is 14.75KHz. At the same time, it should be taken into account that after the transducer is connected to the welding horn, the resonant frequency summit of the system should become very sharp, that is, the bandwidth is very narrow, while the mechanical quality factor is very large, a small shift in frequency can cause a large increase in impedance, which could lead to the ultrasonic generator's overload protection or broken ceramics, etc. Therefore, the importance of frequency matches can not be over-emphasized.
