Ultrasonic Welding Machine Process
Through the energy conversion system, the high pressure and high-frequency signals generated by the generator are converted into high-frequency mechanical vibration, and added to the plastic workpiece, through the friction between the workpiece transfer temperature to the surface of the workpiece interface and internal molecules. When the temperature reaches the melting point of the workpiece itself, the workpiece interface will melt rapidly. When the vibration stops and the workpiece is cooled and formed under a certain pressure, the gap between the interface can be filled to achieve a perfect welding effect.
Ultrasonic plastic welding is widely used in the field of plastic welding, especially for the plastic mold welding of complex surfaces, because of its fast welding speed and high welding quality. Ultrasonic welding is generally composed of an ultrasonic generator, sensor (transducer), amplitude transformer (amplifier), welding head, and matching fixture, in which the amplifier mainly plays the role of energy transfer and amplification in ultrasonic welding processing. Ultrasound of the original amplitude, generally small, usually only a few microns, the actual processing applications for the ultrasonic welding machine amplitude of about tens to hundreds of micrometers. Therefore, amplitudes are usually amplified by the amplitude transformer. The amplitude transformer can also act as a mechanical impedance, matching the impedance between the sensor and the load, so that ultrasonic energy is more efficiently transmitted from the sensor to the surface to be welded.
